For those who aren’t as lucky to attend this year’s event, Nintendo will live-stream the tournament directly to Twitch’s E3 channel and Nintendo’s Twitch channel, so you won’t have to miss out on any of the Smash-style action.
Nintendo will also present a special treat for the biggest Smash Bros fans who dress up as their favourite in-game characters. A tournament priority seat will be rewarded to those in the best costumes, plus you may even appear on the Twitch live-stream channels. Details for the event on Tuesday, June 10, are shown in the press release below:
9.30am: 3,000 wristbands will be distributed to fans on a first-come, first-served basis at NOKIA Plaza, L.A. LIVE, 777 Chick Hearn Court in Los Angeles. Fans should not queue prior to Tuesday morning, but once a wristband is obtained you can leave the plaza area and return later in the day. The order that wristbands are obtained in the morning does not affect the order later in the day for the event.
